Shein board of directors

Chair: Matthew Farmer -  matthewjfarmer7811@gmail.com

My name is Matthew, and I’m a junior at Baraboo High School. This is my third year in Model UN, and I’m incredibly honored to be chairing a committee for the first time!! I know this committee is going to be a blast!!

If I could leave you with one piece of advice, it would be this: “Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears”. So, delegates, get out there, be bold, be yourself, and face your fears head-on. Only YOU have the power to unlock your potential.

I am so excited to meet you all in person at MADMUN XVI! You are welcome to email me at matthewjfarmer7811@gmail.com if you have any questions!

Chair: Colin McAndrew -   Cjmcandrew@barabooschools.net

Hey everyone, my name is Colin McAndrew, and I am currently a junior at Baraboo High School. This will be my third year in Model UN and my first time chairing at MADMUN, and well, anywhere.

Outside of Model UN, I also run cross country, and I enjoy playing video games and drawing. And I'm excited to chair this committee. I know it's going to be both fun and chaotic. Because it is my first year chairing, I am open to feedback and corrections, so please feel free.

You can contact me at my email for any questions: Cjmcandrew@barabooschools.net

I'm excited to meet you all and put on a great crisis committee!

Sim: Dina Abdel-Megid -  ad30025@students.mcpasd.k12.wi.us

Hi guys!! My name is Dina, and I am a junior at Middleton High School! This is my third year in MUN and my first time helping run MADMUN as a Sim. I have been looking forward to helping be a part of such a special event, such as this, since I started MUN three years ago, and I cannot wait to bring my love for MUN to our very own committee!

Outside of MUN, I enjoy learning new languages, swimming, participating in school legislation, traveling, and singing, but MUN holds a special place in my heart because it continues to teach me the value of connection. From meeting new people in a big city far from your hometown to speaking out about current issues in an opening speech, MUN has always been my platform for connecting with others. I only hope that this year I can help foster an environment that brings everyone I love about MUN to you!

Fun fact about me: I am writing this bio in a different country as we speak! Any guesses of which country I am visiting?

You can contact me at my email: ad30025@students.mcpasd.k12.wi.us

I am so excited to meet you all and see what you create with this amazing committee the fellow staff and I have been working on! Long live crisis committees!

Sim: William Tarkowski - 26tarkowski104@sasd.net

Hello! My name is Will. I am a senior at North High School in Sheboygan. This is my third year participating in Model UN, but my first time serving as a sim at MADMUN. I have participated in mostly crisis committees, so feel free to contact me if you have any questions about what that entails! In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and doing math. I run cross country. I also participate in Robotics and Science Olympiad.

I look forward to participating with all of you in this upcoming committee. You can contact me at my email: 26tarkowski104@sasd.net. I look forward to meeting you all!

Sim: Julia English -26english757@sasd.net

My name is Julia English, and I am a senior at Sheboygan North High School. This will be my fourth year participating in MUN and my second year helping run MADMUN. MUN has become such a big part of my life, and it all started with my best friend begging me to go on a trip to Chicago with her. Not knowing what a daunting but incredible journey it would take me on, I was reluctant to go, but eventually became excited about the amazing opportunity. Stepping into MUNUC, I was immediately overwhelmed by the possibilities it presented. Hesitant to step up into a more prominent role, I met a fellow delegate who demonstrated how the more willing you are to participate, the more engaging and fun the conference becomes. Meeting new friends, discussing prevalent problems impacting the world today, and drafting potential solutions are just a few of the reasons that founded my love for MUN. I love playing tennis and soccer, and I play in my high school's drumline. A fun fact about me is that I love hiking, and one day I hope to visit as many national parks as I can.

I am so excited to meet you all in person at MADMUN XVI! You are welcome to email me at 26english757@sasd.net if you have any questions!
