Meet Your Secretariat

Welcome to MADMUN XVI! We are here to ensure you have the best experience possible at this year's conference. We have been working all summer to develop a fun and engaging learning experience for all participants.  We look forward to seeing you on November 15th!

Hi! This year I’m a senior at McFarland High School, and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of this year's secretariat! I started Model UN in my freshman year, and fell in love with it immediately. While I’m generally around the STEM departments of MHS, Model UN gives me a space to explore my passion for politics. I hope that with this conference we can inspire that same passion in more newcomers, and make another memorable conference for returning delegates!,

Hi! This is my senior year at McFarland High School, and I am so excited to be your co-sec gen this year! I started Model UN late in freshman year. I am in love with this club wholeheartedly. I love history and enjoy using Model UN as an outlet to learn more about it. I have taken as many of the history classes as I possibly can. MUN is an extension of my love for history. I hope this conference will give people that same outlet and love.  Outside of history, I spend time trying to better our world, and learning about politics through Model UN has inspired me to make more change. I hope MUN can inspire you, and that MADMUN will help you grow.  Thank you all for being amazing delegates!

Hi everyone! I am also a senior at McFarland, and I am one of your Heads of Sims this year. I joined Model UN my freshman year and instantly fell in love with how unique this club is. Model UN helped me come out of my shell and I hope it can do the same for new delegates. Returning delegates, we have put a lot of effort in to make this a memorable conference for you! Remember to learn AND have fun, because that’s what this club is all about.

Hello everyone! I am a senior at McFarland High School and have the honor of being your co head of sims this year! I am also usually around the STEM departments of MHS, but joined my freshman year because I wanted to participate in debates apart serious and silly topics and improve my public speaking. I fell in love with the role playing aspect of committees and watching creative solutions to problems unfold in the intermediate and crisis committees. I absolutely love being apart of the simulations because of these things and I’m so excited to see where the delegates and the sims take the story of each committee.
