About MADMUN
The Madison Area Model United Nations (MADMUN) Conference is a high school Model UN conference organized and run by students from multiple high schools throughout Wisconsin. The conference is geared towards students of all ability levels (beginner through advanced) and serves as a great way to kick-off the Model UN conference season.
Students learn the structure of parliamentary procedure, how to debate and communicate ideas, and problem-solve international issues.
MADMUN Advisor of the Year Award
Purpose
Model UN Advisors are the pillars of the MUN community. The MADMUN Advisor of the Year Award honors an exceptional Model UN advisor whose leadership, mentorship, and dedication enrich the student experience and foster excellence in diplomacy education.
Eligibility
- 2 years of experience advising Model UN.
Nomination Guidelines
- No self-nominations. Submitted by Student, Colleague, Administrator, or Community member
- Testimonials Required. Nomination must include at least one testimonial from a student
- Format & Content: 500 words or less, and created in a Google Doc. Each testimonial must clearly list the nominator’s name, email, and relationship to the nominee
