I joined Model UN because I’ve always been passionate about discussing world issues and exploring different perspectives. The opportunity to attend conferences in various locations and meet people from diverse backgrounds made it even more exciting. 

Favorite MUN Memory: Going to Amerimunc. We got to go to the French and Russian Embassy, visit a bunch of different monuments and museums, and went to a great conference.

Hello everyone! My name is Peter Wangerin and I am excited to be one of your sims for the Cabinet of Russia. I am currently a senior at Waunakee High School and have participated in Model UN for two years. I took part in MADMUN last year and it was my favorite conference that I have been to! I joined Model UN because I wanted to gain different perspectives on issues that affect the global community. Additionally, it is a great place to communicate and collaborate with others, as well as practicing public speaking skills. Outside of Model UN, I am a co-captain of the Waunakee varsity golf team, and I am very passionate about physics and other natural sciences. I am very excited to see how this committee plays out and I look forward to meeting you soon!

Hello! My name is Peter Beine. I’m a junior at Sheboygan North High School, where I am the financial secretary. This will be my second year in Model UN, and my first year being a sim. I wanted to sim because I love trying new things and meeting new people. We chose the topics for the committee because they are modern and pertinent problems. I can’t wait to meet you all in person.
