Chair: Piper Hefty,
Hi everyone! My name is Piper Hefty (she/her), and I am excited to be one of your chairs for the Romeo and Juliet committee this year! I am a senior at Middleton High School, and this is my fourth year in Model UN and my first year chairing. I joined Model UN during my freshman year with a friend and quickly fell in love with it. I've enjoyed every conference I've attended and am thrilled to have the opportunity to chair at MADMUN. This committee is going to be full of drama, and I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Feel free to reach out with any questions!
Chair: Trinity Kulp, trinity.kulp@mgschools.net
Hi everyone! My name is Trinity Kulp and I am so excited to be a chair at MADMUN this year! I'm a senior at Monona Grove, where I will serve as President of MG Model UN, and I have been doing MUN since my freshman year. I joined MUN because I wanted to meet new friends and improve my speaking skills, but I stayed because of how much I love and enjoy the club. I chose to chair this year because I have had dozens of amazing experiences as a delegate at conferences, and I wanted to be a part of that for others. Finally, I chose this committee because I hope that it will not only be engaging and challenging, but very fun for both the dais staff and delegates. The topics we picked, though very different from each other, both present the opportunity for skilled debate, intelligent directives, and sneaky ideas. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Sim: Sam Schoenke
Hey everyone! My name is Sam Schoenke (She/her) and I am so excited to be one of your Sims this year for the Romeo and Juliet committee! I am a senior at Middleton High School, and this is my third year doing Model UN, but my first year simming. I joined Model UN after some convincing from friends of mine, and immediately knew it was for me. One of my favorite memories from MUN was getting “Assassinated” as RFK at last year's MADMUN where I got to be in my first ever JCC, which was an absolute blast. Our staff put so much hard work and some really creative thinking into this committee and I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with (Bring on the drama!). Feel free to reach out with any questions!
Sim: Danika Castellino
Hi! I’m Danika Castellino and I am so excited to be one of your sims for this committee this year! I’m a senior at Edgewood High School and have been in MUN since my sophomore year when it got rebooted after COVID. I am so excited to be one of your sims for the committee, as engaging in the backrooms and being able to interact with and help you all plot schemes is super fun! We chose this committee and these topics because we feel that they help add depth and also give you a chance to revisit the iconic storyline of Romeo and Juliet! I’m so excited to see where this committee goes, and I can’t wait to see what ideas you come up with!
XOXO,
Danika
Sim: Sofia Shepley
Hi! My name is Sofia Shepley and I will be a sim for the Assembly of the Montagues and Capulets Committee. I am a senior at Edgewood High School, and I have been doing Model UN since my freshman year. I didn't know much about Model UN when I first started, but have had so much fun in my time doing it. My favorite memories in Model UN are probably some of the larger conferences I have done, such as CIMUN. I also was a chair at MADMUN last year, for the World Health Organization Committee, so I am super excited to be doing something different and simming this year!!
