Hello! My name is Reid Landay (He/They) and I will be a chair for this year's Hunger Games Committee. I am a freshman at UW Madison and have been involved in MUN for 3 years now! I joined MUN because I heard all the wild stories from crisis committees and then I fell in love with every part of it, from policy and debate, to the inner workings of front and back rooms. I am so excited to chair this year and guide the debates that take place within the politically complex dystopia on Panem. I love the Hunger Games and I hope this committee yields political turmoil, drama, and a good time for all delegates. Hi! I’m Vivienne Metcalf, and I’m so excited to be chairing the Hunger Games Committee at MADMUN. I’m a senior at Verona Area High School, and this is my third year doing Model UN and my first time chairing. I joined Model UN to improve my public speaking skills and be a better global citizen. I’m so excited to chair our committee because “Hunger Games” was a book series I loved as a kid. I’m so excited to explore our topics through the characters we’ve chosen. Hi! My name is Olivya, and I am currently a first-year student at North Park University, where I am studying Marketing and Sports Management. I am a Monona Grove Alum and participated in MUN for all four years while at MG. I am very excited to be able to chair MADMUN for a second year in a row. One of my favorite Model UN memories is when I was part of a crisis committee at CIMUN that was the Tencent Board of Directors, and we went in a different direction than what our chairs thought we would. During the Midnight crisis, we were told that there was going to be a lawsuit because we helped someone we should not have. To solve this issue, we burned up our paper trail. That was a fun conference. This year I will be one of your two Sims and I am excited to see what your backroom will end up! Something that I would like to see is creativity, since this is the Hunger Games Council, anything is fair game. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to email me.

Hi, I'm Andrew, and this year I will be a sim for the Hunger Games committee! I have been doing MUN for 3 years, with this year being my final ride. I joined model UN because I thought it would be a great way to get involved in politics and the world, and it has so far proved me right. My favorite MUN memory is sharing a room with my friends at MUNUC- and all the interesting stories that came from that.
