Hi! My name is Noah and I am a Senior at Edgewood High School! I have been in MUN for 3 years. I joined when one of my ‘smart’ friends told me about a new club starting at our school. This club was Model UN and I thought that it would be a good way to increase my knowledge of current events, build my public speaking skills, and spend time with friends. My favorite MUN memory was when I was in a Harry Potter committee and I became the Rat King as Peter Pettigrew. Later that night, I even got to hang out with some friends and get Crumbl Cookies and ice cream! I can’t wait for MADMUN XV!

My name is Jack McNerney and I am very excited to be your chair at this conference. I am going into my senior year at Edgewood High School. I have done Model UN for 2 full years with this year being my 3rd. I originally joined Model UN when a friend told me he was starting the club at my school and wanted to know if I was interested in it. The reason that I wanted to chair for MADMUN was because I have had such a good time in my last 2 years of Model UN that I wanted to try and give the same fun experience to other people who decide to participate. The reason I decided to chair this committee is because European affairs are fairly interesting to me. I think that we get so engrossed with domestic affairs here in America with our country being as big as it is, we don’t always take the time to see what our neighbors across the Atlantic are up to.
