Hi everyone! My name is Piper Hefty (she/her), and I’m super excited to be one of your chairs for the Avatar: The Last Airbender: Ba Sing Se committee this year! I’m a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I’m studying political science and communications, and I’m a Middleton alum! I was involved in Model UN all four years, and this is my second year as a chair. I’ve attended conferences all over the US (and Vancouver), and this committee topic is definitely the best I’ve been a part of yet! I’m so thrilled to have the chance to chair at MADMUN again. Hi! I’m Crystal, a senior at Middleton High School, and this is my fourth year in Model UN. I’m super excited to be one of your chairs for the Avatar committee this year— I’ve attended MADMUN as a delegate, sim, and now chair; it’s one of my favorite committees and a great place to try new ideas out! MADMUN was my first ever conference, and my first ever crisis committee, so it holds a really special place in my heart. I also remember what it’s like to be new to MUN or crisis, so don’t ever hesitate to ask for help or any questions you have.
